Farmers in the market. Firm peaches. Fresh Apple pie. Smell the bales of hay. A genuine area of commerce down to the buttermilk from the family cow. What world is this? Does it still exist.

I don't know but we simulate that interaction now online, on screen, our clicks and picks are currency of digital. Some on the social scale and others to feed business. But in all the truth in a child's eyes we seek authenticity and realness. Behind the glass, behind the curtain of gridded focus group layout and design.

I love art. Everyday I try to look at beautiful things that inspire me to look at the world a little different. Inspiration for my art. A museum in my pocket. At this time in history there are so many images and video content produced daily than in all of the history of mankind from the past. We flick with a thumb to the next image or photo, double tap and move on. But what is real. I think it's in that moment of approval that we feel the only realness that we can get. In our photo library, on our phone we authenticate the real because we keep it, share it, put in a folder for safe keeping and easy viewing.

The computer is the extension of our mind. We are connected a device shuffling atoms into colors and shapes. Tiny worlds of circuits and chips. Molded plastic and metal. Smooth and form factored.

We are extensions of our devices. We get a curated experience on every connection to the internet. The cool thing is we know not to get over whelmed from it. Oh..Now we do. So you remember the times you stopped. Or when you were done. You're better now. You see the game and except it. You only want the real and authentic. You make your curated experience real and authentic. We are all real and authentic avatars of authenticity in a world form factored to eat us a live.
