Heavy hearted today about the tragedy in California involving Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and other people who lost their lives yesterday. Just A gut punch for the energy force of life oozing through all of our waking eyes. Families lost loved ones, A public figure in the wreckage. Just sad all around.
So how do we regroup? I'm like most of you in shock. It weighs heavy because you see a man full of so much passion and energy gone in his prime, his daughter never given the chance to fully bloom, her friend never given the chance, the family on board leaving loved ones without there presence, the pilot and his life cut short. It's a public happening and we're all living in the middle of it.
How do we regroup?
We attack the day and our process and keep living. Take notes from the passion and work dedication of the Black Mamba. Push forward. LA is living it and the world is living. The layers are deep.
I lost an Aunt last year who meant a lot to me. I didn't see her as much in the recent years because of distance. But I also didn't talk to her as much as I wanted too on the phone. She was a big part of me growing up. I spent summer with her and my cousins for years. She was soul full of great energy. I take that life force and add it to my own.
I never knew Kobe but he has been a fixture in sports for as long as I remember. So his energy of greatness was always there. His retirement year was a epic show in appreciation of an athlete that left it all on the court. So we should look at own life and leave it all on the court. We take for granted that we'll make it home or get to talk to those we care about.
We can be better by committing ourselves to greatness. If we channel our energy. If we practice our crafts. If we don't give up. If we ignore the voices that judge and want to stop our progress. If we believe in the one person who always has our back, if we let them--Ourselves.
It's a game. Life is a game. When the buzzer sounds we are like everyone else. Gone to the spirits in the winds and what we create from manifesting our actions is all that is really is left. So be kind, show some love and don't give up.
Thank You.
