Babel
Babel 36/365
The Tower Babel tried to explain why people speak different languages in the world. Man trying to avoid the second flood built a tower to the sky. God feeling blasphemed knocked the tower down and spread man geographically apart and created multiple languages to divide humans even further and teach them a lesson. That wasn't nice God. God sure doesn't tolerate much in the Bible. But I digress.
I think in this can be an analogy for this post modern, meta modern computer and our phone driven world. We are in cells and we gave the key to our captors. We compartmentalized our beliefs. We stay in our lane and throw darts at the other side to only have them bounce back.
We have built the technology. We are connecting everything to computers and apps. Firmware and Updates are the new bringing of the resurrection. Data is shared and disseminated in ads to cater to our prefaces so we can buy things. It's our reality. It's going to get more intense. Some can say for the worse and some will be advocates for the speed of change. Autonomous vehicles, Virtual reality, AI, Drones, Additive Design, Deep fakes, Bio Mimicry are the buzz words of the tech getting better everyday.
This Tower we're building is not to escape a flood but a big ass cell tower. Connecting the world under on network. Quarantined with code and networked to be an all present all the time system. Embrace it or run. It's here. Partisanship, ignorance can spread like a virus with a click. We trust our friends with the User Agreements to have our best interest. Technology is a tool. It also is a utility we can't live without. The systems in place will have to adapt before someone knocks the Tower down and then....#000000
