War on Paper
War on Paper 41/365
I guess its dedication to the process. It's working. Back to creating. Developing my systems. But too much thinking! Some say that's a good thing. But sometimes it can be a pause in the momentum. To do is to create.
Thinking has its advantages. Really? Sure. Using your brain. To plan action into reality. Now we need to make lists. And check boxes. And set up time frames. But not to overthink it. Sure.
When battling the creative forces with a side of the brain that wants to control everything I'm letting the war of actions persist. It's a battlefield of wins and losses. For now it's a war on time. A struggle to organize thoughts so we can get the most creative output for our time.
I need to be in the right frame of mind to create. It's a sacrifice of everything else and to focus on the creative energy. This is why it's good to sketch and take notes on ideas away from my phone. Paper, pencil and pen. This doesn't take a full commitment but the freedom of ideas.
But of coarse if you are like a lot of creative artist types you have tons on notebooks and sketchbooks full of ideas. How are we going to make our ideas happen?
Let's explore this. This week.
To be continued....
